We are a group of followers of Christ who come together each week to worship our God, remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and encourage one another to follow His word daily.

We are an independent, non-denominational body of believers who accept the Bible as the inspired word of God.  We follow no human creed or doctrine, but instead seek to pattern our lives and worship according to New Testament teachings.

We go by the name Christians as first called in Antioch in the New Testament.  We seek to be imitators of Christ and to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.  We love and respect all and do our best to be a shining light in the community and to help those in need.

The congregation at Charlotte Heights will welcome you with open arms as soon as you set foot in the door. Those that worship at Charlotte Heights come from all walks of life. Some choose to dress nicer, while others opt for more casual attire. We hope you will join us for a worship period at 9 am followed by classes for all ages at 10:15 am.

A typical worship service will include the following:

  • Congregational a capella singing
  • Public reading of scripture
  • Prayers offered to God for praise, thanksgiving and requests
  • Deliverance of a lesson presented from the Bible
  • An invitation to respond to the lesson, or ask for prayers
  • Weekly communion
  • Opportunity to give
  • Brief announcements and welcome from one of our elders
