Since its foundation in 1968, the mission of Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes has been to develop youth into Christian leaders.   L2L is the oldest and largest leadership training program used by the churches of Christ today to help prepare their youth and adults for service in the Kingdom of God.  The purpose of L2L is to help local congregations instill the Word of God into youth and adults so that they will stand firm in the faith.  Teaching students to do “Bible things in Bible ways” is the essence of L2L.  At Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, many students have participated in our L2L program.  Our young men conduct the Sunday night service when there is a 5th Sunday, our young ladies participate in leadership in our Ladies Day program and ladies classes and we attend the annual convention at the Opryland Hotel during Easter weekend.  We have been participating in the program since 2002 and have seen our children grow to be leaders within the church.

The 2020 Lads to Leaders convention was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and we were unable to attend the 2021 convention.   We are resuming weekly meeting on Sunday nights at 5:00 pm so come join us as we prepare for the 2022 convention.  The 2022 convention will be April 14 – 17 and the theme is Be Strong and Courageous from the book of Joshua.

This program is open to children in K – 12th grade and we welcome any adult assistance.  If you have questions, please contact Kory Crow
