We were all told by our parents to be careful who we “hang around with”. I had my fair share of rowdy friends, and if I am honest, I am certain that a few parents warned their kids not to associate with me either. There are two ways to look at this. One is exactly what our parents told us to do, to assess our friendships and ask if they are drawing us closer to God. The second is to examine ourselves and ask if we are the friends that are drawing people closer to God. Be mindful of who your friends are and who you are as a friend.
