Conversations with God – Beauty in Brokenness

Questions to Think About

  1. What is overwhelming you right now?
  2. Do you agree that God is more concerned with our spiritual well-being than our physical well-being?
  3. What acts of God’s faithfulness have you seen in your life that bring you hope?
  1. The Weeping Prophet
  2. His ministry was met with reluctance.
    (Jeremiah 1:6)
  3. His ministry was constantly met with rejection.
    (Jeremiah 20:7-8)
  4. His message was one of God’s judgement on Israel for their sins and transgressions.
  1. Hope in the Midst of Tears
  2. We can easily run out in this life.
  3. We can never run out of God.
  4. God was still concerned for Israel in Jeremiah’s time.
  1. Great is Your Faithfulness
  2. Examples of God’s faithfulness
  3. “The Lord is my portion says my soul.”
  4. It’s okay to have difficult conversations with God.

Conclusion

  1. Do not forget in the midst of despair.
  2. The key is to recall or remember.
    (Lamentations 3:21)
