This Week’s Riddles

Riddle 1 – Who Am I?
I was a prophet of the Lord.
That’s to say the least.
He showed me many visions.
Did you know I was a priest?
I prophesied to some bones
In a valley full of death.
They rattled and came together.
God gave them skin and breath.
I once ate a scroll.
I know that this sounds odd.
I have a recipe for baking bread.
It was given to me by God.

Riddle 2 – What Am I?
It took an elephant to make me.
It also took much gold.
Part of me was rounded.
That is what we’re told.
You must pass twelve lions
Before you come to me.
And when you finally get here
Two more lions you will see.
I am a place of judgement.
No one knows my worth.
Nothing like me had ever been seen
In any kingdom on the earth.
