This Week’s Riddles

Riddle 1 – Who Am I?
You’ve probably heard my story
And how my story was concluded.
If you listen to my story,
Three stories are included.
It all begins in story three,
And it ends up at the first.
I know that might sound backwards,
Like the stories are reversed.
You can learn a lesson
From my story, I suppose.
If the preacher ever preaches long,
Please try not to doze.

Riddle 2 – What Am I?
What is it?” was the question
When I first came around.
It took time to figure out
How I got there on the ground.
I would only come around
For six days at a time.
Don’t leave me till tomorrow.
That would be a crime.
Grind me, beat me, bake me.
Turn me into cakes.
I’ll melt away when it gets hot,
So, be quick, for goodness sakes!
